Thought I might as well bring up some discussion about it. I know cutting spark during a shift, like the WOTBOX does is violent and will result in the car shooting flames(sounds amazing!). I'm also not clear about how a fuel cut would affect the car during the shift, would the car violently shoot flames like other cars do when no lift shifting? If you are cutting all fuel, then wouldn't it be pretty much drama free? Leaning the car out can also cause backfires, so I guess it would depend on how quickly and completely the fuel cut works, cutting all fuel isn't leaning the car out, it's preventing combustion entirely. RPM Limit ETC Hyst might need to be played around with some too, it might force you to wait until the revs fall below 5600rpm(6000rpm neutral limiter - 400 rpm limit ETC Hyst = 5600rpm) before it gives you throttle back. Any time the clutch is pressed in, the car thinks it's in neutral, and if above conditions are met then the neutral limiter should cut in.Ħ. The Neutral Max Load is 1.20 so the neutral limiter couldn't occur above 120% load.ĥ. 95 so the neutral limiter can't occur unless above 95%, which would mean foot to the floor, going all out, in an NA car.Ĥ. Too bad if you are having to shift past 127mph lol.ģ. Neutral Exit Speed is 127mph(this number has no significance, this is the highest value this box will accept, even in Mustang GT, Boss 302 and GT500 files), so the neutral limiter can only occur below this speed. Neutral cutoff limiter is 6,000rpm and Cutoff RPM is 7,000 so the neutral limiter could only occur between 6,000 and 7,000rpm.Ģ. The other thing I'm not sure about is whether or not the below settings define the state of neutral in the tune(what the car considers neutral, very important to tune as far as idle goes), or just defines the neutral limiter.ġ. I don't even know if the neutral limiter(fuel cut) could come close to mimicking a no lift shift feature like cobb or ecutek has. I honestly shouldn't be posting this since I don't have the cojones to try this on my own car, but I think the below settings might actually let the neutral limiter function as a no lift shift feature.
